localization-config is a package aimed to
pre-configure language/country-related settings in various Debian
packages, depending on the locale settings of the installed system.
When used while running Debian Installer to install a new system,
localization-config is called after the base system install and
before installing packages.
Various parameters are set by this package for each language/country combination. As the package maintainer cannot set these parameters by him/herself, translators can help him/her to fine tune them.
